Likewise, in the time of Jesus' birth, shepherds were men of poor reputation. Yet it was to men such as this that God first announced the birth of Jesus.

Whatever you do, don’t put undue pressure on yourself to recreate the wheel. The expectations on a pastor’s teaching are sky high, and the reality is that in the midst of all the holiday hustle and bustle, you are expected to write and present a thesis paper every week between now and Christmas Eve. If a series idea resonates with where your church is at, run with it - make it your own and adapt it to your context - so you can invest your creative energy in the places that need it the most.
