Psalms 146–150 share many commonalities, primary among them the “Praise the Lord” refrain. They also explore various aspects of the praise of God, connecting humanity, creation, and the heavens under the rule and reign of a good God.

   This four-week series considers a selection of parables from the Gospel of Matthew and emphasizes the importance of leaving a legacy of faith and commitment.

   How to Talk to People

   This four-week series examines how Christians are to handle conflict and speak to others. The Bible tells us that anger is not sinful but can lead to sin if unresolved conflicts are left to fester. Our conflicts stem from our selfish desires being at odds with others’ desires and with God’s desires. We must learn to listen and not react, and seek to live in peace with others.

   Fearless

   “Fearless” is a three-week series that looks at the story of Gideon and what it means to have fearless faith. God wanted Gideon to be a man of valor—ruled by peace and marked by courage, rather than being ruled by fear and marked by cowardice. God wants the same for us. This series will demonstrate that Christian courage is not grounded in human power but in divine power.

   Forget Not

   This series (along with much of Scripture) encourages us to remember what God has said, what God has done, and what it means for us.

   Picture This

   This four-week series examines the biblical, and theological definitions of the words salvation, justice, freedom, and peace. We can interpretate and define these words by our culture and personal experiences, but God wants us to see the important words in his way and not our own.

   Missed Calls

   This four-week series examines the tough reality of missing calls and opportunities in life. As Christians, we might miss out on important calls for a variety of reasons: overlooking opportunities to help others, grasping on to our own desires instead of God’s plan, focusing too much on our own expectations, and just not seizing the moments God brings our way. But God can redeem even missed calls.

   Summer Survival Guide

   This four-week series helps students prepare for the summer by providing helpful tips for challenges they might face during the summer months such as boredom, loneliness, temptations, and worry about the future. We will look at people form the Bible who faced similar challenges and learn how they handled them with God’s help.

    Summer Slow Down

    This four-week series for youth and adults encourages people to use the summer as an opportunity to slow down and disconnect. The series does not make slowing down an end in itself, but rather, a means to create space for God and others.

    Summer Study: The Book of Deuteronomy

    This eight-week series moves through Deuteronomy—exploring the setting, themes, theology, and enduring relevance of the final book of the Pentateuch. Deuteronomy revolves around a set of sermons that were preached by Moses—the first of a long line of prophets in the Jewish tradition—to the people of Israel in his final days on earth. Thus, this sermon series reveals the heart of a prophet at the end of the road, whose words are just as relevant for us now as they were for the Israelites of old.

    This series invites us to join travelers in the Bible on their journeys across deserts and through wildernesses. Recounting the stories of Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Philip, and Paul, the next six weeksare designed to help believers glean meaningful lessons from arduous travel across desert sands. This series reminds us that sometimes the journey is every bit as important and valuable as the destination.

    This four-week youth sermon series helps students understand what it means to be salt and light in the world around them. It highlights God’s promise to guide us and the command to be a wise influencer while warning against being too “salty” in a world that is full of snark and anger.
