Youth Sermon Calendar: Volume 2
January – DecemberA 52-week roadmap for youth leaders on topics like prayer, evangelism, pop culture, joy, unity, and more.

Prayer Postures
This four-week series highlights kneeling, dancing, and raised hands as common postures of prayer that believers should be comfortable using when communicating with or worshiping God. Youth should be able to learn and understand why physical postures during their worship experience are a vital part of the Christian life, and how to overcome the fear of engaging in these postures while in public. Prayer postures serve as a reminder that we communicate with God not only through our mouths but with the bodies he gave us as well.

God On Film
This four-week sermon series discusses what it’s like to live in the “in-between.” How do we prepare for the resolution to God’s great story? How do we live out the resurrection of Jesus today? As the Bible makes clear, God’s work in the world brings us into right relationship with him and empowers us to live out that redemption to others. Each message in this “God on Film” series comes with a biblical text and a description of an upcoming spring or summer 2020 film to illustrate some of the issues discussed in that passage. Not only will this series be an exciting change of pace, it will also help your group better understand and apply the teachings of Scripture.
