Cup of Tea

Have you ever gotten to know someone, only to realize they weren’t your cup of tea? Maybe they rubbed you the wrong way or you found out something about them that made you cautious. Sometimes we can be afraid that when we really get to know people, we won’t like them—or even worse, that when they really get to know us, our faults and struggles will drive them away. That can also be our thought about God sometimes: “When he knows us, he won’t love us anymore.”
