At the end of the film Paterson (directed by Jim Jarmusch, Bleecker Street, 2016), the protagonist has given up his dreams of being a poet. As he is having a quiet moment in a natural spot, a tourist sits next to him and speaks encouraging words to him, giving him the strength to continue in his dreams. It’s a quiet moment of two people connecting unexpectedly.
