Everyday Beauty

The film Groundhog Day (directed by Harold Ramis [Columbia Pictures, 1993]) is about a weatherman, Phil, who is trapped living the same day over and over. Phil recognizes that the same day is repeating itself, even though it doesn’t seem to be happening that way for anyone else. At first, Phil runs the gamut of possible existential crises, but eventually, he learns to see the beauty that exists in this world every day, even if every day is exactly the same as the day before.
