God’s Suffering

One of the 20th century heroes of our faith is Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He was a German pastor who led several efforts to condemn, resist, and overthrow Adolf Hitler as he rose to leadership. He also helped rescue Jews from Nazi Germany. However, Bonhoeffer was found out as a member of the resistance and imprisoned.
