Manifold Wisdom

In the Bible (Ephesians 3:10), Paul describes the wisdom of God as “manifold,” a word that can be understood to mean “multifaceted,” like a diamond whose beauty is seen even more clearly by its multifaceted cut. God’s wisdom in his plan of redemption has been present since the beginning of time, yet it wasn’t fully revealed until the time of fulfillment in Christ. The revelation of God’s plan is like the cutting of an exquisite diamond to reveal the stone’s true beauty.
