Staying Ready

Clark Kent, also known as Superman, typically discovers that he must leave quickly in order to save the city. His super suit is worn under his clothing so that he doesn’t have to get ready when spontaneous crime happens. Do you stay ready in this way? Or are you caught off guard during a spiritual attack? Is your spiritual life so intact that at any given moment you’re wearing the right ‘super suit’ underneath? We must be diligent to stay ready for the Lord’s imminent return.
