The Gospel is Love

At the heart of the gospel is love. God so loved the world he sent his Son, Jesus, to die on the cross (John 3:16). Because of this love God has for us we can love others (1 John 4:7). We are called to love everyone, even our enemies (Luke 6:27). But this is a love not as our culture defines it. Our culture’s version of love is ambiguous and rooted in good feelings.
