Big Idea of the Series

A seven-week “I Am” sermon series that explores each of the seven “I Am” statements that Jesus makes in the Gospel of John starting with John 6:32-51. Each “I Am” declaration illustrates a specific revelation of Jesus’s character and testifies to his divinity. Also, each of the “I Am” announcements reveal our spiritual needs and how Jesus perfectly meets each and every one.

The series guide included in this “I Am” statement sermon series provides seven unique big ideas to help shape your message. You will also find descriptive observations from other sections of John that help bring greater context and overall perspective to the significance of what Jesus is doing.

Included along with the series guide you will download the ready-to-use small group discussion guide that contains a weekly set of questions which reinforce the big idea and application points from the weekly message.
