The lovingkindness of the Lord, ultimately shown through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, is also present in the lives of Naomi and Ruth, despite the tragedy that marked their lives. The book of Ruth is a testimony to the presence and love of God, even in times of crisis and despair.
