The Flock

This week, we discuss the metaphor of the church as Christ’s flock. While any one member might exist as an individual “sheep,” the sense of belonging to a flock comes from the one who shepherds the flock. It is the owner and director of the flock who gives the collective sheep their identity. We see this concept even in modern-day times.
